This section features a collection of early 20th-century travel publications related to
the Dutch East Indies. The vintage brochures were primarily produced by the Official
Tourist Bureau (OTB) and major transportation companies, including shipping lines
such as Koninklijke Paketvaart Maatschappij (KPM) and Rotterdam Lloyd, as well as
airlines like Koninklijke Nederlands-Indische Luchtvaart Maatschappij (KNILM). Richly
illustrated with photographs, maps, and artistic designs, the brochures offer a glimpse
into the early days of tourism and travel marketing, showing how exotic destinations
were presented to travellers during this period.
